My Primitive Boutique

* All About Us *

Thank you so much for visiting our website :).

My name is Cheryl and I am the designer of many of the products here at 'My Primitive Boutique' as well as this fabulous website :)

My Primitive Boutique was named about 9 years ago. This name came from my passion for Primitive Antiques and Primitive Crafts. Over the years I developed a passion for that 'Shabby Chic' style. Ever since this new passion developed I have had the most amazing response. You'll hear more about that  below.

Please...Let me introduce you to my family:

My family also plays a big part here at  'My Primitive Boutique'.

 I have been married to the most wonderful  guy in the world...his name is Jeff.

 My husband Jeff and I have been together for 20 years...WOW! We have been married for 16 of those years. :) My husband Jeff has been the most supportive person ever. He always stands behind me no matter what I do. He is the most understanding and loving person I have ever met :)...I am so happy our paths have crossed so many years ago. After my husband works a hard long day as a 'Union Ironworker', he comes home and does the most amazing chores around our home and then....he cooks a full course meal :)...can you believe it! He is an awesome chef! He is the master at the ''Grill' ':)

I also have 2 children: My daughter Courtney who is 20 years old and my son Travis who is 15 years old.

My daughter Courtney has a passion for 'Hippies'. She likes to dress all crazy and stuff. Courtney plays the electric guitar and  is currently in a band called the ' Pantyliners'.  Courtney is extremely creative and has the most amazing ideas. I find myself always asking her opinion every time I need one. I always count on her opinion and I value her thoughts. Courtney's plans are to soon attend school for 'Fashion Design'...who knows, maybe we will have to add a page with her designs too. Courtney also is amazing with 'Hula Hoops'. She is currently selling her creative hoops to local folks and intends to expand her hula hoop passion to hosting 'Children's Parties' and 'Private Lessons'...what a fun way to keep in shape.

My son Travis is going to make some little girl out there a very happy wife someday :). He is extremely handy. He is like a Mr. Fix it Jr. right now. He loves to get his hands dirty. He has been walking around with a screw driver since he was 2. Travis also has a passion for Skateboards, BMX Biking, Mountain Biking and he loves to play the drums. Travis always helps me out when I need something impossible done :) He has a tool box bigger than my husbands and he enjoys using his own hard earned money to buy the tools to fill it ...which I enjoy too :)...

My son is currently a team rider at 'Diablo Free Ride Park'. We hope to see him on a box of 'Wheaties' some day :)

We also have a family pet...His name is Ollie. He is the spunkiest little poodle ever. We adopted him the day after Christmas in 2005. He was born on October 23, 2005. Isn't he the cutest little thing you ever saw :)

Our Favorite Poodle 'Ollie'

About me...Like I said, I have a passion for the 'Shabby Chic' and  'Primitive Art'. Many times I come across ideas from my dreams. I know that sounds silly, but my mind is always rolling. I am always thinking "What can I make next?' I love to sew and I love to paint. I  always seem to be working on some kind of project at home too :) Sometimes when my husband comes home from work, he never knows what he might be coming home to...LOL...but he just simply smiles and says "What are you doing now?" and proceeds to pitch in...I told you he is a great guy :)

There will be more to write, but for now I need to go. So come back and read some more in the future.

Thank you for stopping by :)
